THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER: The 2026 Halloween Island t-shirts have arrived!!!! 🎃

Since *every penny* of the $30 purchase price of the 2026 “Rise of the Moondog” shirts will be donated to the Outer Banks Relief Foundation, we’ll need a few days to sort through them for quality control, inventory, and allocation to each of the Halloween bars. While we originally stated that October 1st would be the official “on-sale” date, we’ve decided to start the fundraising a week early, so these limited-edition shirts will be available for purchase beginning at 12:00 NOON on Friday, September 25th!

Many of you have reached out in hopes of purchasing previous-year designs from 2024 and 2025, and we plan to make those “retro” designs available again in 2027. But for now, we expect this new design to sell out as quickly as the others, so we encourage you to get them early before sizes & colors begin selling out…WHICH THEY WILL. Every year on October 1st, historic Roanoke Island — the site of America’s Oldest Mystery, the “Lost Colony” of Roanoke — transforms into Halloween Island, the spookiest seasonal destination on the mid-Atlantic coast. 🎃🕸️

Unlike seasonal tourist traps like Williamsburg & Orlando, there are no crazy entry fees. There are no inflated prices. There are no crazy jump-scare haunted houses to walk through. There are no parking fees. There are no two-hour queues to wait in. 👻

Instead, Halloween Island offers a unique seasonal experience that puts the “fun” in “fundraising” with a month-long, town-wide charity bar crawl of over a dozen uniquely themed pop-up Halloween bars throughout one small waterfront town spanning five full weekends of “trick-or-treating for adults” at the site of America’s Oldest Mystery.

And the best part? Proceeds from Halloween Island benefit the Outer Banks Relief Foundation, which provides financial relief for local families in times of dire need.

Pick up a Halloween Island passport at any of the Halloween bars for a $5 donation to the charity, and start crawling! Enjoy seasonally themed food & drinks from each of the bars as you collect passport stamps, and redeem your completed passport for exclusive rewards & prizes!
