Visit the Outer Banks in OCTOBER! 🎃🌊🐚

October is considered the "secret season" on the Outer Banks, offering perfect weather with daytime highs in the 70s, low humidity and warm ocean temperatures. You can avoid the summer crowds, take advantage of significantly lower vacation rental rates and enjoy prime conditions for surfing, surf fishing and birdwatching.

Also… there are so many things to do! Book a stay in the Town of Manteo during any of the five weekends in October to discover Halloween Island, a month-long, town-wide charity bar crawl through over a dozen uniquely-themed pop-up Halloween bars, with proceeds benefiting the Outer Banks Relief Foundation, and redeem your completed Halloween Island passport for an exclusive reward!

Also during October, you can attend the Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival, get a local taste of the ocean at the Outer Banks Seafood Festival or watch kegs fly at OBX Brewtag.
