More Than Just a Car Show
For the last several years in May, car enthusiasts have made their way to the Outer Banks from all over to share in their love of cars during the OBX Rod & Custom Festival, hosted by Garage Band Charities, Inc. Featuring cruise-ins, a poker run, and displays of cars at the Soundside Event Site and along the Outer Banks, the OBX Rod & Custom Festival has made a name for itself as a great car show to attend.
Cyp Celebrates 30 Years
In September of 1994, following the 2nd State of the Child Conference, Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County (CYP) was established, meeting a need that the community saw for a community organization serving children, youth, and families.
