Last night, the Red Sky Catering and NC Coast team had the privilege of participating in one of the most inspirational events of the year: An Evening with Ruby. This extraordinary fundraiser supported Camp Bridges, a vital program empowering children to build bridges across communities.
We were honored to transform Ruby Bridges’ favorite childhood dishes into healthy, Blue Zone-inspired heavy hors d'oeuvres, creating a menu as memorable as the evening itself. Ruby’s presence was priceless, and the generosity of everyone who donated was overwhelming.
A heartfelt thank you to our fantastic staff, who worked tirelessly to make this event a success, and to the incredible event committee—Carl V. Curnutte III, Miles Daniels, Chef Wes Stepp, Tess Judge, and John Buford—for bringing this vision to life.
