Outer Banks Watersports

The Outer Banks is a paradise for water lovers, especially with its wide variety of watersports and other activities done in the ocean or sound. Outer Banks watersports are available for people of many adventure levels, whether you want to paddle in a canoe through a nature preserve or surf through the barrel of a breaking wave. Surf companies in the area often sell and rent surfboards, paddleboards and gear you might need for either activity. Watersport adventure companies often offer a wide selection of watersports equipment and trips to do these activities. You can enjoy kayaking tours, skimboading, windsurfing, kiteboarding, parasailing, Jet ski and Waverunner rentals, waterskiing, sailing and more – the options seem endless! Lessons and camps for different watersports are also offered through surf shops, and watersports companies to teach beginners the basics or help experienced participants improve their skillset.
