The Sea'scape is a beautiful 41' ketch that takes guests on private sailing charters in the Roanoke and Albemarle sounds. Tours leave from the downtown Manteo boardwalk. Co-captains Dan and Katherine Bottjen (both Coast Guard-licensed charter boat captains) can take up to six passengers out at a time. Since these are private charters the only people on the boat (besides the captains) will be you and whoever you invite. Imagine slipping along in the water, a lovely breeze filling the sails, the quiet that comes when you leave the hubbub of the shore behind ... it's perfection! The boat has a fully equipped galley, so you're welcome to bring along food and refreshments. And there are two heads (bathroom facilities) on board. All sail trips are approximately three hours long, and the boat is pet friendly.
