Little follow up from the last few days…

Had a really good run of fishing — steady blackfin tuna action and some great groups onboard. Saturday was more of the same, with another crew that knew how to have a good time.

Great blackfin tuna fishing today.

Had a bachelor party onboard — picked away at singles and doubles all day. We spent the last couple of hours hoping to find a marlin, but couldn’t get one to show.

We’ll be back at it again tomorrow.

Follow up from yesterday…

He said it hurt, but not terrible.
We went back and forth on whether to get it checked out or not — I finally said better safe than sorry.

Beautiful day offshore with one of our regular groups making the trip down from the mountains.

Fishing was slow yesterday east of the inlet, and with a pretty Saturday we knew it would be crowded. Decided to push south and see if we could change our luck… and it kind of paid off.

She’s back!

We finally got the Country Girl back in the water and she’s looking right. Just a few more days at the dock to clean the dust out of the cabin and get everything dialed in.

As of now, our first scheduled trip is April 17th.

Good Friday felt like Christmas morning. 🛥️ We are in the final stretch now. She’s almost done, and with a little luck we’ll be back in the water and back at Pirates Cove by the end of the week. It’s been a long road, but we’re excited to bring her home.
