Daniel Tiger Is Coming to Hatteras Island for Be My Neighbor Day on Saturday, March 7
PBS North Carolina and Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County (CYP) invite you to join them for Be My Neighbor Day from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in the gymnasium at Cape Hatteras Secondary School. This tigertastic FREE event will celebrate kindness and what it means to be a caring neighbor, while also providing opportunities to connect with community partners and a meet and greet with Daniel Tiger.
Fun, Music, Games, Crafts, Exploration and Play at KidsFest
Children & Youth Partnership’s 17th annual KidsFest will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo from 9:30am – 12:30pm. Children, parents, grandparents and child care programs are invited to participate in a morning of fun, music, games, crafts, exploration, and play activities, all for FREE.
