From the moment you step aboard, Capt. Frank makes it clear that this isn’t just any fishing trip — it’s an experience guided by decades of knowledge and genuine passion. A proud U.S. Coast Guard veteran and holder of a 100 Ton Master’s License with Unlimited Radar and Towing endorsements, Frank has spent over 40 years exploring and mastering these waters. Along the way, he’s owned commercial fishing operations, run a marine diesel service, and personally delivered countless private vessels up and down the East Coast.
Capt. Frank often welcomes well-mannered anglers up to the bridge, where he loves sharing his passion for fishing and swapping stories about the Atlantic and Gulf Stream, and the secrets he’s uncovered over the years on the water. With his friendly charm and wealth of experience, he makes every trip aboard Wild Card feel personal, safe, and unforgettable.

Wild Card is a 35-foot twin-diesel Bertram Sport Fisher designed for comfort, stability, and an all-around great fishing experience. With plenty of deck space and room for up to six anglers, she offers a smooth, safe ride for anglers of all skill levels exploring the Outer Banks waters.
Capt. Frank has personally upgraded and maintained Wild Card to the highest standards, keeping her exceptionally clean and ready for adventure. The boat features modern electronics, including chartplotters, radar, GPS, autopilot, and fish-finding technology, along with all required U.S. Coast Guard safety equipment.
