The Island Opry is a celebration of great country music. Unlike a typical concert, the Opry presents four or more artists on each show, giving the audience a sample of each artist's musical style. Inspired by the Nashville music scene, the Island Opry will honor country music's historic past and combine it with its present sound by showcasing a mix of country legends and contemporary chart-toppers, as well as sharing the stage with some local favorites. Each show will feature at least four bands from a wide range of musical talent.
Shows are on the first Thursday of each summer month and are at least four hours long. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the shows start at 6 p.m.
