Of course, they make their own meat sauces and marinara, and you can tell the difference in the rich tastes. And, while they certainly include fresh, locally caught Outer Banks seafood in their dishes, if you're ready for a break from all the ocean's bounty, our Italian restaurants are a good option. All of them include fresh-made pizza on their menus -- but they go well beyond the pies. And you must leave room for their homemade desserts such as tiramisu, Amaretto biscotti or mascarpone with chocolate sauce.
