This is Zak and his wife, Brooke from Chesapeake, VA. Zak was diagnosed with many internal melanoma tumors back in April of 2022. He has been in an ongoing battle since. He's been accepted into a therapy trial at Duke that will begin next month. Join us in sending HUGE vibes and prayers up for a FULL, successful recovery and cure for Zak and his family. His sister-in-law reached out last summer hoping to get them to the OBX is for Lovers, EMO festival. We were beyond stoked that Zak was not only able to attend, but also rock out to some of his favorite bands, giving him and Brooke a much-needed distraction. We look forward to seeing Zak and Brooke at many more shows in the future.

The fun keeps piling up!! We are excited to announce TWO more killer side events at New Year's on the Banks! On Saturday, Tony with Cultivated Mind, AKA "The Maestro" will offer a master class. His talent abounds and he's ready to share it with you in a small, intimate setting. On Sunday, Dale and the ZDubs will be hanging late night after we ring in the New Year for an acoustic, organic jam session “Find a Way” to the secret location that will be revealed during their set. These two side events are open to anyone with a Univeral or Galactic hotel package. DON'T WAIT! Our single night tickets for New Year's Eve are sold out! There are only a few single night 12/30 and Planetary (2 night pkg) left. Get the best deal and all the action by immersing yourself in it. Stay with us. Only a few Galactic hotel room packages left. Giving a huge shout out to this gal, Aida! Last year, she volunteered at several concerts and when we needed a volunteer coordinator, Aida stepped up and transformed the entire department. She owned it, creating spreadsheets and schedules that would make your head spin. This year, she passed the torch to Kelly and worked alongside her to continue improving the experience of the VusicVolunteer family. She's managed to create and keep us on track with weekly crew zoom call check ins and filled many gaps on the spot. She can often be found giving someone a bouquet of flowers she's personally arranged, a shell from the beach that has a story behind it, or showing appreciation to a bus driver or crew member by asking for their autograph. She passionately cares about making our events as seamless as possible. Thank you, Aida!!

We regretfully announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, the KIDZ BOP Never Stop Live show on 8/15 at Roanoke Island Festival Park has been cancelled. Full refunds are currently being issued.
