Hello Runners! We are getting closer to race weekend, and we are excited to welcome you to the Outer Banks! Before you arrive, please take a few minutes to review these important race-weekend details. There are several things you will need to plan for ahead of time.
• MANDATORY PACKET PICKUP: All participants MUST attend packet pickup to receive their race bib and participant materials. There will be NO race-day bib pickup, so please plan accordingly.
- The expo and packet pick-up be held on Friday, November 6th (1-7 p.m.) and Saturday, November 7th (11 a.m.-6 p.m.).
- Location: Ramada Plaza in Nags Head (1701 S Virginia Dare Trail, Kill Devil Hills NC 27948).
- It is very important that you pick up your packet before the day of your race or event. If you are unable to pick up your bib in person, you can arrange for someone else to pick it up for you. That person will need a copy of your photo ID.
• PARKING PASSES: Parking passes will be distributed during packet pickup. Please be sure to pick yours up and have it displayed in your vehicle window when arriving on race morning.
• NO DROP-OFFS ON HIGHWAY 64: For everyone's safety, there will be NO athlete or spectator drop-offs along Highway 64 or at Fort Raleigh. Please use the designated parking areas and shuttle transportation.
• RACE MORNING SHUTTLES - Shuttle service will operate on the following schedule: 5:00 AM – 6:30 AM: Athlete shuttles to get everyone to the start line and allow the race to begin on time.(spectators will be allowed with athletes getting priority)
