On Friday, Dec. 4 Third, Fourth and Fifth grade students attended an assembly, Robotics. Robots connect science and technology and spark the imagination in all ages. Students participated in several interactive demonstrations. They really enjoyed the drone!!
With the holidays approaching, many classes are making their own decorations. Pam Gray's First grade students are making life size replicas of themselves that they are turning into elves! They used non-standard measurement for their "elf" body.

PTA Reflections Contest Information - please encourage your children to support the PTA Reflections Program. Entries will be due on Wednesday, January 6. PTA Reflections Entry Forms will be sent home through backpack mail. Any entry should be accompanied by a form that is completely filled out.
Just a reminder: If your child is absent or tardy, parents are requested to send in a note when the student returns, stating the dates and reason the student was absent or tardy from school. Absences and tardies without one of the written excuses below will be reported as “unexcused.”
The following are excused absences from school:
• Illness of student
• Death in the family
• Medical or dental appointment
• Special and recognized religious holidays regularly observed by followers of a particular faith
• Educational Travel*
• Military Deployment
* For educational travel, parents are required to fill out an Educational Opportunity form and submit to the school for approval. Forms are available in the front office or online.
