Dowdy Park is a town treasure that started out as an amusement park in 1962 and has since evolved into a beautiful, art focused community park. This transition began in 2017 and has since attracted families, community, and artists from Dare county. The park is a central hub for farmers markets, yoga classes, live music events, holiday events, and many more outdoor activities. With the help of the community, we hope Dowdy Park continues to be a central part of the Outer Banks for many, many years to come.
