In celebration of the upcoming National EMS Week 2026—which will be observed from Sunday, May 17, 2026 through Saturday, May 23, 2026—Dare County EMS will host an open house event at Dare County EMS Station 1 in Kill Devil Hills. The public is invited—and encouraged!—to attend the free open house event, which will feature a variety of public education materials and displays, including several equipment demonstrations, an assortment of preparedness and prevention materials, and information from multiple agencies, as well as fun activities for children and adults alike.    More info...
