It’s worth a cruise down the Beach Road to check out Sal’s NY Pizza. With an extensive menu of made-from-scratch classic Italian dishes and New York-style pizza, this family-owned restaurant and arcade offers takeout and delivery. Try the Sal's white specialty pizza with a house-made white sauce, topped with a freshly shredded mozzarella cheese blend, pancetta, roasted garlic and fresh broccoli. They also offer made-to-order classic chicken Parmesan as a hoagie or over pasta with gremolata. The hoagie roll is fresh from local Proof Bakery, and the panini focaccia is made in house. Fresh salads, lentil stew and soups du jour, wings, tots (you can top your tots!) and desserts are also available; don't miss the chocolate tiramisu. With four televisions, your game is probably on, and you can watch it with a cold draft beer while playing a game of pool or even pinball in the arcade. New owners have recently taken over Sal’s and made lots of changes so go check them out. It's open late, too, until midnight on weekends.
