The purpose of the Outer Banks Shag Club is to promote and preserve Carolina beach music and dance. We are a non-profit social club providing members and guests dance opportunities and events, as well as instruction for both beginners and experienced dancers to improve their Shag Dancing. The Outer Banks Shag Club also sponsors local and charity events, and promotes the events of other shag clubs.
Currently, we gather every Monday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Duck Woods Country Club, 50 S. Dogwood Trail, Southern Shores, NC 27949. There is a $3 charge to help cover the cost of the DJ.
We are committed to having a great time shaggin’ the night away! We hope to see you on Mondays beginning at 6 p.m.!
