Yanna’s Field Trips Co. is a local childcare and enrichment company serving families throughout the Outer Banks. Founded in 2026, the company grew from my love of working with children and my belief that everyday experiences can become opportunities for kids to learn, create, explore, and connect.
I created Yanna’s Field Trips Co. to offer families something that goes beyond traditional childcare. Along with dependable babysitting and vacation childcare, I create hands-on activities, field trips, community programs, and special events that give kids opportunities to try new things, use their creativity, build confidence, and have fun. I also provide family support services to help make busy days and vacations a little easier for parents.
Community is a big part of what I want this company to become. Through programs like October Gives Back, children have opportunities to participate in age-appropriate service projects and learn about kindness, empathy, teamwork, and the different ways they can contribute to the community around them.
My approach is centered around creating experiences that feel welcoming, engaging, and meaningful for both children and their families. Whether I’m caring for a child one-on-one, helping a visiting family enjoy their time in the Outer Banks, or bringing a group of kids together for an enrichment program, the goal is always the same: to create experiences kids can genuinely enjoy and remember.
