Outer Banks Skydiving

Between parasailing, Jet skis, hang gliding and flying, there are plenty of activities in the Outer Banks to please the thrill seekers amongst us. However one activity tends to make even the bravest of us both excited and a little shaky in the knees. This activity is Outer Banks skydiving. Imagine sitting in a biplane, looking down on all of Roanoke Island with the Nags Head in the East and the Roanoke Sound in the West and then you muster up your courage and jump . . . from 9,000 feet. You’ll receive training before the trip begins and dive harnessed with the instructor. All you have to do is enjoy the ride! You and the instructor will free-fall for about 30 seconds before releasing the parachute. After that it’s about a five-minute ride back to the airport, giving you sufficient time to take in the panoramic view. Check out the listing below of Outer Banks skydiving to learn more details about the activities.
