8th grade students have returned from an amazing trip, Sea to Mountain. The trip provided memories that will last a life time.
MMS baseball team remained undefeated for the 2016 season. We are looking forward to adding their year to our gym banner!
NJHS is still collecting books. Please send in used books to help them meet their goal for recycling.
Sports
Looking ahead to the fall please make sure your student has a current physical and the other paperwork ready so they can try out for a fall sport.
We are always looking for adults interested in helping with our sports programs, if you are interested in coaching at MMS please contact Mary Ann Hodges (252)473-5549 ext. 1285.
Spring/winter sports recognition evening will be on May 19th at 6:00 pm.
Odyssey of the Mind
The OM group will be running the concession stand at our softball/baseball tournament games. Please come out and support them on May 9th and May 11th at 5:00 pm.
National Junior Honor Society
The used book drive is coming to an end. Please send in any used books this week.

May 9th - Seed games for baseball and softball at Manteo
May 11th - Dr Heyder will be a guest speaker for all grades
