MMS Activities
Visiting Artist: Katherine Stewart worked with art students on a new art process using chalk. Stop by and see the results on display in the lobby.
8th Grade Parents: There will be a meeting on March 10th, 6:00pm at Manteo High School to get information about course registration.
Sports
Congratulations to all those athletes who made one of the spring sports teams at MMS! Games will start the week of March 16th. There will be a short parent meeting on March 8th at 5:00. Pictures for our spring sports will be on March 14th (coaches will send home more information).
AVID
The AVID classes will be going on field trip: April 12th for 8th grade AVID and April 18th for 6th/7th grade AVID.
Odyssey of the Mind
The competition is right around the corner and will be held at First Flight High. The event is exciting for both those participating and those watching so plan to attend. March 12th!
AIG
AIG fair was an exciting night, a BIG thank you to all who helped organize and attend the event!
The AIG interest groups meet every other week as they pursue new an exciting information with community volunteers.
National Honor Society
Two different groups of students went to MES to read to the students.
Rachel's Challenge
The Rachel Challenge group will hold an all day activity on March 7th.
