AIG Fair Feb 23rd
Feb 24 - Progress Reports
Sports
Winter Sports recognition evening will be Feb 24th.
Spring Sports try outs will be Feb 29th. Please make sure your student has a current physical on file and all paperwork in.
AVID
Students are working on a bike safety campaign that will be shared with Manteo Elementary School in the fall.
AVID students will be participating and organizing for "Relay for Life". Please support them in this worthwhile cause.
Odyssey of the Mind
Teams are preparing for the March 12th event at FFHS. Please contact Christy Spinella if you can help out.
AIG
The AIG students will be showcased at a fair on Feb 23rd. Student work will be on display after a short meeting at 5:30. Hope you can join us to celebrate our AIG students.
Rachel's Challenge
The chains are growing! Come see the kindness chains around the school!
National Junior Honor Society
Students from "The National Junior Honor Society" will go to Manteo Elementary on March 4th to help them celebrate Read Across America. The students are excited to share their love for books with the younger students.

Feb 22 - Speaker from the NC Coastal Federation will talk to 8th grade students about commercial fishing

Feb 25 - Empty Bowls dinner at FFHS
Feb 26 - Hearts of Dare (Fund raiser for : Luke Sawyer, Hermilo Rosales, Bri Blumonthal)
March 2 - 7th grade students will have a "Bowling" event to tie in units from all areas including motion and force and fractions
March 10 - 6th grade students will be treated to information on Dolphin Research
April 18 - NC SciFest
