The OM group spent the end of spring break competing at the state level competition. The two groups preformed well and "Runaway Train" placed 4th and "Pandora's Box" placed 7th. Both teams as well as their parents and coaches deserve a pat on the back.
8th grade parents and students are getting ready for the "Sea to Mountain" trip the excitement level is high and at a meeting this week the students were given their room assignments and bus groups for the trip. This year the students will be going to Charlotte North Carolina and experiencing an area very different from the Outer Banks.
IN SPORTS:
Track
Track went away to Northeastern and did very well. Next week is the conference meet where our athletes can show how much they have grown this season.
Baseball/Softball
Unfortunately the weather changed our games this week. Dare County Parks and Rec does a great job keeping us on schedule but the rain Tuesday night made the fields just too wet to play on. The game against First Flight Middle School has been changed to April 23rd.
