Pi day
Manteo Middle celebrated pie day a bit early as students throughout the school worked on various activities. In art class a color wheel was used to link art and math, in Mrs H. Magee's class students sent in pie examples over the weekend and in Mrs. Tillet's class stations were set where students calculated pie, (the favorite station was using moon pies to calculate pie). The activities were so exciting that I am sure these will not be a once in a century event.
