Outer Banks Restaurants

Fast Food & Chains

We Outer Bankers pride ourselves on our local restaurants that provide meals comparable to any you'd find in big cities. But, we also understand that sometimes people like familiar places where they know exactly what they'll be eating because the same menu item here tastes precisely like it does in Atlanta or Austin. Or, maybe it's the convenience of driving through and picking up a quick meal that appeals. Whatever the reason, we're peppered with Outer Banks fast food restaurants and chains. Some towns have regulated how they look in an attempt to make them blend in with the architectural style of the surrounding buildings, but lots of them will be recognizable to you as the same as in your home town. Of course, national pizza chains are here, and some of them deliver. Just make sure you find one close to where you're staying because few will drive more than a 10-mile radius. One thing that is convenient about the Outer Banks fast food restaurants is that several stay open very late at night. Most Outer Banks restaurants stop serving by 10 in the evening, even in the summer, so having a late night spot to grab a quick bite is a good thing.
