Outer Banks Community Organizations

We're a collective of realtors that seeks to connect, educate and network to form closer ties with our Outer Banks neighbors. Through our association, we have our Young Professionals Network that develops rising leaders within our group as well as in the community. We work with young professional realtors, encouraging them to further their careers through pursuing leadership roles within their local community and beyond, be an informed advocate within the industry, work cooperatively and learn from each other, and ultimately, be exceptional realtors within the community they serve. 

Outer Banks Entrepreneurs, LLC is a woman owned and operated program to help support women who are looking to grow their business. Outer Banks Entrepreneurs was founded by Kim Twiddy over 10 years ago. Kim's goal is to share her business knowledge with other women so they can succeed in their goals to own and operate their own business. Members of this team meet twice a month to discuss methods, techniques and to spotlight a member of the month. Join us today and learn to run your business in the most successful way possible. 

Outer Banks Forever was established in 2019 as the official non-profit partner of our Outer Banks National Parks — Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site and Wright Brothers National Memorial — to help to protect and enhance these special places, now and forever. Since its founding, Outer Banks Forever has supported our Outer Banks national parks through projects like the new mobility friendly Oregon Inlet Kayak Launch and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse webcam, and programs like Adopt A Pony and Adopt A Sea Turtle Nest, virtual learning experiences and more.

The Outer Banks Presbyterian Church is a community of believers in the word of God. They strive to recognize Christ within themselves and share the love through outreach and service to the Outer Banks Community. Their regular services are held on Sundays at 10 a.m.

Fun for all Levels of Runners The Outer Banks Running Club (OBRC) is a Division of the Road Runners Club of America and USA Track & Field, and is in its third year of service to the community. Our primary objectives are promoting running, track and field and cross-country, and educating the public to the benefits of running.

We offer weekly training runs, under the direction of club coach, Ariadna Vucinovic on (252) 207-5900. Ari leads the group in warm up exercises and helps members create personalized training programs, whether you want to start a running program, increase your mileage or speed or are training for a specific event.
