That's a wrap!
Thank you to all the Fish Hungry Bastards that showed up to fish our Annual FHB Tournament this year. We had 61 Anglers fishing this year and a total of over $2000 in the pot for prizes and just shy of $200 to be donated to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
There were 2 Anglers that were tied for third place. Trey Dunavant and Taylor Bandy, both with 3 fish caught and 123" total length. The tie breaker determined Taylor to be the winner for 3rd place receiving $152.50 in cash, plus additional prizes.
Second place went to Devon Hoskins (not pictured) for 124.25" total inches. Devon received $457.50 in cash, plus additional prizes.
First place this year went to a OG FHB... rumor is he's the man on the logo.... Tom Harris. Tom caught 5 fish in the tournament, including the longest fish at 44".
Total inches for the 5 fish was 208.75. Tom received $762.50 for first place and $560.00 for the BIG Fish calcutta. Tom also received a special prize for Biggest fish donated to us by Jimi Hitchcock at @wildoriginal336 Wild Original Art. Be sure to check him out!
All Anglers received custom made Plaques from local company JK Designs and Marine Solutions . Katherine, and her Husband, James, own the company and made the plaques. They all received prize packs sponsored by Oceans East and @smithoptics
Including Gify cards, FHB apparel, Stickers, a pair of Smith Sunglasses, Hats and more.
Thank you to everyone for making this tournament more special each year. Drum fishing on the Outer Banks has always been like family for so many, like Debi and Joe. Most special Thanks to Debi, it wouldn't be possible without her. Honoring Joe's memory each year is something we look forward to helping her do.
