Jennette's Pier regulars, Dr. Tom Hankins & Rick Probst each landed and released these two red drum! This Friday-morning catch occurred when the north wind was blowing 16 knots and ocean temps were 76 degrees. Anglers also caught bluefish, false albacore, and Spanish mackerel.

Summer surf. Local fun seeker Devon Simmons takes off on a nice wave while body boarding in the Waterman’s Surf and Adventure Camp at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head. Simmons and the other dozen or so campers ride waves, catch fish and have fun for the week.

Plenty of guys and gals look to practice on small incoming waves right next to the contest area. It was a hot day, but the ocean water was perfect temperature for skimming and swimming, it was right around 74 degrees.
