Miss Oregon Inlet is the resident head boat at the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, the closest marina to the renowned fishing grounds of Oregon Inlet for the northern beaches. The head boat takes two half-day inshore fishing trips and a two-hour twilight fishing cruise most days. These short trips are perfect all ages, and they offer more than fishing because on any of the trips you'll see the local wildlife (often dolphins) plus all the beautiful sights on the sound. Pre-booking for fishing and twilight trips is recommended. Arrive 15 minutes early for all trips. All bait and tackle are supplied, and the boat has a blanket fishing license that covers all its anglers. Drinks and snacks can be purchased on board, but guests are welcome to bring their own. If you carry a cooler on board, make sure it is less than 13 inches tall so it will fit under the bench. You can also purchase one of their freshly designed t-shirts while you're out on the boat. Tickets cost $48 for ages 11 and older and $38 for children ages 4 to 10 and are free for kids 3 and younger. They offer discounts of $3 off for military, law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, seniors and online bookings. If you’re fishing with a group of 10 or more, they offer a great deal of $5 off each ticket – which equals out to one free ticket for your fishing party! The boat is available for private charter for parties and events. Bring your own music (use their sound system and charging stations), food and beverages, and you'll enjoy a lovely time in the cool sound breezes. You’ll find Oregon Inlet Fishing Center about 8 miles south of Nags Head just before you get to the bridge over Oregon Inlet.
