The specialty here is authentic frozen custard: a thick, delicious concoction of fresh cream, milk, egg yolk, sugar and imported vanilla. They make it fresh hourly, and whether you call it ice cream or frozen custard, we just like to call it delicious. Their frozen custard is offered in cups, cones or homemade waffle cones. They also create awesome sundaes and shakes, or you can create your own concoctions with one of their blended hurricanes. On the menu are burgers, Coney Island dogs, N.C. barbecue sandwiches, wraps and veggie burgers. The specialty beach fries are hand cut every day from select Idaho potatoes. Now in their 17th season, Kill Devil’s is a locals' favorite and is open for lunch and dinner from April through October.
