Originally from Sicily, Josephine's owner, Josephine Caggese, has decades of experience as a chef and brings her passion for authentic Sicilian cuisine to every dish. Josephine's menu is updated weekly and a recent menu featured four-cheese ravioli and stuffed eggplant among the appetizers; a Palermo Pear salad of romaine, goat cheese, pears, cranberries and walnuts drizzled with ginger sesame seed dressing; an entree, Pasta Gregorio, composed of homemade raviolis layered with sausage, ground beef and cheese baked with a meat sauce; and your choice of five homemade desserts. And that’s just a small sampling of the full menu! Located in Kitty Hawk, only a short drive from Duck, Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head, Josephine's is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m.
