This family-owned and -operated gem can now be found right on the sound, just across the street from the old location, in the same building as Austin's Seafood and next to Lisa's Pizzeria. The coffee shop offers true Italian-style cappuccinos, lattes, frappes, coffees (iced & hot) along with their dark, smooth, Dutch-drip cold brew, matcha, chai and Numi organic teas. They also serve real, whole-fruit and acai smoothies, plus Hershey's ice cream in cups and cones and as milkshakes, sundaes and splits. Pastries and confections are made daily. In the spacious retail area, you'll find locally crafted cards, soaps, photography, art, decor, Christmas ornaments, soy candles, organic dog treats and many other whimsical gifts and souvenirs, including the Bearded Barista tees and hoodies. Wander into the working studio, where the Bead Angel will happily assist you in creating your very own OBX keepsake. Not feeling artsy? Choose from one of the gorgeous, one-of-a-kind pieces crafted in-house by the resident jewelry artist who specializes in authentic sea glass and sterling. There's an open studio, or you can sign up for classes for one to six people. Plenty of outdoor seating is available to relax and enjoy island life.
