CHSS Wax Museum
One of Mrs. Polk's middle school math groups were given the task to research a key person in the Corps of Discovery Expedition. The students were assigned to write a research paper about their key person and portray them as a wax figure for all to experience. When viewers pushed a button, the wax figures came to life and shared details about their significance in the Corps of Discovery Expedition. The following students portrayed the following people: John Fairbanks - Meriwether Lewis, Kai Conner - William Clark, Peyton Cabral - York, Conner Tawes - Sergeant Charles Floyd, Nathan Whitehead - Toussaint Charbonneau, Emmi Baker - Sacagawea, Laya Barley - Jean Baptiste Charbonneau, James Tawes - Seaman the dog, and Rubie Shoemake - George Drouillard.
