CHSS Students Study Archeology
This past week students worked alongside professors and students from the University of Bristol and the Croatoan Archaeological Society to search for artifacts from Hatteras Island. Arrowheads, metal, pottery, and other items were found from the trenches that were dug. Students were able to work with the team to determine the age of the items and some of the history behind them.
Students held an archaeological expo Wednesday night to display their findings and research. Thank you to all that worked hard to provide this great opportunity for our students!
