Here's a great Outer Banks activity that we bet many visitors don't expect! The Outer Banks Daredevils, a collegiate summer baseball team, brings back baseball memories of summers past for fans, memories as sharp as the crack of a wooden bat or the smack of a ball on leather. Each summer the Daredevils play exciting collegiate summer baseball here on the Outer Banks, with regular home games at 7:05 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights beginning in June and continuing through the first week of August. Home games are played at Towne Bank Park, located at the First Flight Athletic Complex, a family-friendly ballpark with concessions, located in Kill Devil Hills. The Daredevils are part of the Tidewater Summer League, the second-oldest in the country, which fields leagues for both college and high school players. A local, nonprofit organization, the Outer Banks Daredevils are supported by its fans, sponsors, host families and volunteers. The Daredevils have become another Outer Banks tradition – 2018 is their 20th season!
