Glide through the quaint historic village of Corolla on your own personal Segway and learn of life at the turn of the century through several landmarks listed on the National Historic Register. You’ll view the 1875 lighthouse, Whalehead, the Chippendale bridge (one of the oldest standing wooden bridges in America) and the one-room Corolla schoolhouse and chapel from the 1880s. Hear romantic tales about this sleepy little village in the duck-hunting era. This tour runs about two hours-plus, and reservations are required.
