This Outer Banks annual event gives locals and visitors the chance to score some awesome flea market finds. Browse around to find that jewelry statement piece you’ve been looking for or a trinket that’ll make a one-of-a-kind souvenir. In addition to the flea market, a small group of local artists also represents their work and products. You can make direct sales with the artists and take your purchase home that day. Get some scrumptious baked goods to take home (if they even make it that far!) and participate in raffles for prizes donated by the local crafters. The word “treasure” is used in this event’s title for a reason – there are so many great finds here that you can’t help but take something home. All proceeds from this event, held mid-September at the Baum Center in Kill Devil Hills, benefit the Outer Banks Chorus, so every purchase you make helps enrich the arts on the Outer Banks.
