Are you up for a day or two of Outer Banks-themed legends and lore? North Carolina’s storytelling masters gather up in Hatteras Village for two days of spinning tales. You can listen to personal accounts, tall tales, glorified historical events and more. These storytellers bleed Carolina blue, and their stories are rich with North Carolina’s history and culture. They also hold other occupations including authors, musicians, historians and more, which makes them quite qualified to entertain your ears and imaginations for a couple of days. This Outer Banks annual event is usually held the first weekend in May.
